Translation Request - Hungary, Ung, Felső-Németi - Church records
Greetings! I have just joined this group.
My great-grandfather, Joseph Mox, was born in Felso-Remette, Hungary.
I was directed to these records using the FamilySearch catalog: Hungary, Ung, Felső-Németi - Church records
Image #168 begins the records for the year 1860. I have used Google Lens to try and translate but to no avail.
Any assistance with the translation would be greatly appreciated.

Rescued URL: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HT-6MH9-2C1?i=43&cc=1554443&cat=758491. (The Community software mangles links if they're given their own line.)
Perhaps the reason Google Lens was having trouble is that this is not in Hungarian. (Well, other than a random thing here and there, such as a note on entry 25 about the person's death.) It's in some Slavic language or other, and most of it is in the Cyrillic alphabet, not the Latin one.
I'm not sure why or how you were directed to Felsőnémeti, however, as both Dvorzsák's 1877 gazetteer and the official 1913 gazetteer agree that Felsőremete's Greek Catholics were recorded in Alsóremete (which is now Nyzhni Remety, Ukraine). Felsőnémeti was not even in the same county, and is now in a different country.
Unfortunately, the availability of records for places that are now in Ukraine is ...hit or miss. I have not been able to get the new-and-disimproved Catalog search to cough up any church records from Alsóremete; the closest it got was the 1828 property census (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSKW-233G-J?i=590&cat=231564), which does not mention anyone with the surname Mox.
