Where is Reissz?

By 1900 this same family just listed their birthplaces as "Germany."

Just as the census taker mis-spelled Prus[sia], he may have also mis-spelled Reisz. It could be one of the former states that are now part of Thüringen - Reuss ältere Linie, or Reuss jüngere Linie. See here for more information -

Thank you for the help and this is clearly the correct answer. I was able to find other evidence that he was from Greiz.
