Transcription/translation - Alswede
Hello -- The entry I am working is the first one on the right page (1655). Here is what I think it can be partially transcribed as:
Johann Schepers und seine fraulen ?o sch??lten dochter ??ehliches kindt ??gehort nach ????? Cornberg in ????? gefattren Johann Meip? Dregh Cornberges knecht B?teles? Il???hen Johan Ernst, soror ??dor?? Elisbeth
Could you also translate for me? I know that this is difficult, but any help would be most appreciated! Jenny

Very difficult indeed - I can't help much:
Johann Schepers und seine frawen so schu?lten dochter eheliches kindt gehoret nach der ????? Cornberg ?in ????? gefattren Johann Meip? Dregh Cornberger knecht B?teles? Il???hen Johan Ernst, soror ??dor?? Elisabeth
Tentative translation:
The legitimate child of Johann Scheper and his wife, a daughter of Schult?, belonging to the Cornberg dominion(?) in ???. Baptismal sponsors Johann Meip? servant at Cornberg's, B?teles? Il???hen, Johan Ernst, sister ??dor?? Elisabeth
[von] Cornberg was a noble family, one branch of which resided in this area, see Wikipedia (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cornberg_(Adelsgeschlecht), in German):
..... vier westfälische Familienzweige bildeten (die Hüffer, Lübbecker, Auburger und Kettenbacher Linien). ...
.... formed four Westphalian branches of the family (the Hüffer, Lübbecker, Auburger and Kettenbacher lines). ....

Thank you Ulrich! I spent quite some time reading from the link that you sent about Cornberg -- very informative and along with other WIKI sources you've sent, I'm beginning to understand the layout of the places where my ancestors lived and worked.
The parish priest that wrote these entries did a good job of obfuscating what he was writing!
