I have searched the birth and christening records for Kristiansand and believe I have found Gim Wilhelm. He was born illegitimate 2nd December 1826 and christened 14 January 1827. The son of a bachelor sailor Ole Endresen and Steivor Erichsdatter (the wife of Ole Svensen) and named Gim Wilhelm. Steivor Erichsdatter had an illegitimate son while she was married to Ole Svensen.
