Collection - Ireland, Select Births and Baptisms, 1620-1911
How do I access a collection in the "Quarterly returns of births in Ireland, 1864-1955, with index to births, 1864-1921" ?
I attach a screenshot of the record of John McDonough (spelled M'Donough).
Both this index Film 101047 and Image Group Number (DGS) 4187287
as well as Film 101181 and Image Group Number (DGS) 7718928 (for births in Feb 1870)
show a popup message "This item is available on microfilm at this FamilySearch Center" for records that are "located" at "Family History Library".
I am accessing the collection from my local library in Glenview, IL, which is an Affiliate. Also, there is a library at the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wilmette, IL.
An suggestions?
Thanks, Gary

@GFresen If The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a FamilySearch Center close to you, I would go there since these films are from the church library. The consultants there will be able to assist you and see if these records are in Salt Lake or something they have access to. I would call them to find out what their days and times of operation are. I hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
Shannon

Hi @GFresen
Irish births, marriages, and deaths are available, free, on the Irish government site: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

1870 birth of John McDonough: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/birth_returns/births_1870/03354/2229800.pdf
FYI - the irishgenealogy.ie site doesn't even require a password. You do have to sign in (any 2 letters will do) and the site does not keep your info. You may have to solve a captcha (photos of trees or stairs, usually), but no drama at all.
