Need help please
I need documentation proving that William Newton 1765-1814 is the son of John Newton 1738-1811. I need documentation to prove this in order to become full member of patawomeck tribe. I found proof on every ancestor except William Newton. In addition, I do not have money to buy documentation because I am not a member of genealogy websites. I tried using the free websites and could not find anything. If anyone is able to help with this I will appreciate it greatly!

@Trevor 2365 Before we can try to help you, please clarify the correct people to research. In Family Tree, William Newton 2Z39-B37 (1765 -1814) is married to two different women, Frances Harris and Jane Barr Stuart. He has ten children with each of them during the same time period. Only one of these families could be the correct William Newton who died and was buried in Alexandria in 1814. In addition, William's father is given as John Newton LZ1C-Z8J (1740 - 1811) which doesn't correspond with information you sent. It does correspond with this tree: Early Colonial Settlers of Southern Maryland and Virginia's Northern Neck Counties
If you can clear up which William Newton and which John Newton you want to prove relationship with, we can see if we can help.
I have removed the attached email from your post, as it contained personally identifying information of a living person.
