How do I sign up for Arkivalieronline.

I use an internet browser and search for "Arkivalieronline". I have never signed up, I believe it is publicly available. It was a learning curve to understand how to use it. It comes up in Danish. There is a British flag near the top you can select to get English sometimes. My experience has been even then you need some Danish words or trial and error. There are some tutorials that are helpful. I typically only use the Parish records section. lf I need census I use the Danish Demographical Database accessible on Family Search because the program searches for you. Some names need to have danish characters (e.g. Søren) and it doesn't seem to search female names using "datter" format. I have had success with e.g. "Maren Jens", etc.

You might try a website called Danish Family Search. It has church, census, military and other records and to me it's easier to navigate than Arkivalieronline.
