Alternative to maps.familysearch.org for parish information
The parish map on FamilySearch (maps.familysearch.org) is one of the best English research tools available online. I use it all the time to find the registration district for towns, and to locate a parish and adjacent parishes. Sometime in the last couple of weeks, part of the map stopped working (again). I am teaching a class on English Research this week, and need to teach about parish locations, registration district, etc.. I have never found a good substitute for the map when it has been down in the past.
Does anyone have a good place to find comprehensive English parish information besides a google search? Most of the websites are difficult to navigate.
And does anyone know who keeps breaking the parish maps? :-)

@Graham Buckell do you know of any other maps for England for parish information?

I agree that the 1851 map is a useful one although it does play up from time to time!
As to alternatives, as you mention, Google is always a good option.
Other sources I use from time to time are
- GENUKI https://www.genuki.org.uk
- Parish Locator - a freeware program you can download from http://www.benynet.me.uk/parishlocator.html - an excellent way to find distances between parishes
