Help Translating Birth Record

I would like some help with my translation of the attached birth record. Specifically, I can't make out what the word after Benedikt Engst's name is - presumably his occupation? Also, I can't understand any of the handwritten text at the bottom of the page after the signatures.

Vor dem unterzeichneten Standesbeamten erschien heute, der verfönlichkeit nach bekannt Benedikt Engst (?) wohnhaft zu Huldstetten, Katholische Religion, und zeigte an, das von der lediger Maria Engst, wohnhaft zu Huldstetten, Katholische Religion, zu Huldstetten am zwanzig Zeiten Dezember des Jahres tausend acht hundert siebenezig und neun morgens um acht Uhr ein Kind weiblichen Geschlechts geboren worden sei, welches den Vornamen Rosina.

Benedikt Engst (?) residing in Huldstetten, Catholic religion, appeared before the undersigned registrar today, according to the formality known, and indicated that the unmarried Maria Engst, residing in Huldstetten, Catholic religion, was born in Huldstetten on the twentieth of December of the year one thousand one hundred seventy and nine in the morning at eight o'clock a child of the female sex was born, who was given the first name Rosina.

Benedikt Engst, benefactor/sinecure, residing in Huldstetten, Catholic religion, appeared before the undersigned registrar today, whose personality is known, and indicated that from the unmarried Maria Engst, Catholic religion, residing in Huldstetten, was born in Huldstetten on the twenty-second of December of the year one thousand eight hundred seventy and nine in the morning at eight o'clock a child of the female sex, who was given the first name Rosina.

Comment: As noted by @sylviaelchinger1 the words at the bottom of the record are unrelated to this specific birth record. The civil registrar is simply "closing" the birth register for the year 1879.

The phrase at the beginning of these civil registration records starting at the end of the first line and continuing onto the second and third lines is:

der Persönlichkeit nach _____________________________________ kannt

is used to record how the informant was identified by the registrar.

Note that the last word is "kannt" and the registrar will add either "be" = bekannt = know, or "aner" = anerkannt = recognized.

Also note the large space provided between "nach" and "kannt". If the informant has to provide documentation to identify him/herself, the type of documentation presented will be recorded in this space.

In your record, the phrase is: "der Persönlichkeit nach bekannt". The simplest way to translate this: the personality is known, or, whose personality is known, or, personally known; all of which indicate that the person reporting the event is known to the registrar and therefore no additional identification is required.
