Oxford County Keeps Moving To Massachusetts?
Haskell Cemetery, Sweden, Oxford, Maine, United States
I've been doing a lot of Family Tree work recently on a branch that were all born, lived, died and buried in Oxford County Maine. The above is one example of a cemetery that FS keeps trying to put in Sweden, Oxford County, Massachusetts. To start with, there isn't an Oxford County in Massachusetts. There is an Oxford town in Worcester County MA but that seems to be it. If Oxford County was part of Massachusetts when Massachusetts 'owned' Maine there are no dates on the entries in the drop down list to indicate this.
I have also noticed that if Sweden isn't listed in a confirmed, standardized form on Family Tree, when the entry is displayed in SourceLinker or the Merge comparison screen, the entry is 'standardized' on those screens as being in Massachusetts even if the Family Tree entry is something like "Sweden, Me".

I did some research on this and have some answers, and ideas.
Oxford County in Massachusetts
There was indeed at one time a Oxford County in Massachusetts. Maine was not a state until 1820. Oxford County did reside in State of Massachusetts from 1805 to 1820.
The Place ID for this time is:

For the issue you were having for the Cemetery:
Haskell Cemetery, Sweden, Oxford, Maine, United States. There is a place for this cemetery. This can be found at:
It has a start year of 1831. Sometimes when you are attempting to assign a standardized place, to person in your tree, the system may not find it. If you do not find the place in the scroll down bar, you can enter the place ID right into the Place of Death field. Example: For this cemetery you can copy the place ID: 12001155.
Simple just click on it, and it will be copied:
Then place this in the Place field of your person. It will pull it up and you can select it.
I hope this helps.
