Stock Township, Monroe, Ohio, United States
Please add:
Stock Township, Monroe, Ohio, United States
I cannot find exact years as this township eventually became part of Noble County, Ohio sometime after 1850. The 1850 census is also indexed incorrectly in Family Search as "Stark County".
Regardless I can confirm this did exist from the reference "The County of Noble" (1904):
"He located in what is now Stock township, Noble county, then a part of Monroe county"

By the erection of Noble county, in 1851, the townships of Elk, Enoch, Union, Stock, and parts of Seneca and Franklin were detached from Monroe, and a strip of territory two miles wide and thirteen miles in length, or twenty-six sections, were taken from Washington county and added to Monroe.

Noble County was formed on March 11, 1851, from portions of Guernsey, Morgan, Monroe and Washington counties.[5] It was the last and youngest county to be formed in the state.
History of Noble County by L H Watkins page 561 mentions Stock Township, Monroe, County.
I will add Stock Township, Monroe, Ohio
