I would appreciate any help with translation of the column entries in an 1856 Hannover baptism record relating to a boy Berend's birth a couple months before his mother Eita was married. That would be the notes in parenthesis after Berend's name, the words around his mother Eita's name in parents column, and the remarks which include the name of Eita's new husband Geike. I can see the names but other than that I can only make out her residence and a guess that first word before her name might mean unmarried. I'm curious whether the text describes whether Geike was the biological father or not.

Yes, Geike has acknowledged paternity of Berend and has held him for the baptism:

first column: van Velde, Berend Eits (die Trauung war bei der Taufe schon vollzogen und hat der Vater das Kind selbst zur Taufe gehalten) = van Velde, Berend Eits (the marriage ceremony was already performed at the time of baptism and the father himself held the child for baptism)

third column: Unverehelichte Dienstmagd Eita Berends van Velde in der Wybelsumer Hammrich (vidi Bemerk.) = Unmarried maid Eita Berends van Velde in the Wybelsumer Hammrich (see remark.)

sixth column: Als Vater des Kindes hat sich übereinstimmend mit der Mutter der unverehelichte Dienstknecht Geike Esderts Lauterbach, gebürtig aus Loppersum, hier aber in Dienst, erklärt. = As father of the child has declared himself - in accordance with the mother - the unmarried servant Geike Esderts Lauterbach, born in Loppersum, but in service here.
