Need help with a few words
I just received this record from Leipzig and I can't make out the words in the boxes. I've scanned the top and bottom separately so the image would be larger.
Thank you for your help,
Tina

Hello Tina,
Image (top of page):
vorgelegten Landsturmscheins anerkannt = submitted home guard certificate recognized.
Comments: The groom presented his home guard certificate to the civil registrar as identification so the registrar could confirm who he was. Note after "aner" there is a pre-printed portion of a word = "kannt". You have to put the "aner" together with the pre-printed "kannt" to form the word "anerkannt" = recognized. The other possibility that could be written before the pre-printed "kannt" is "be" to form the word "bekannt" = known.
jetzt verehelichten Arbeiter _üller = now married [to the] worker _üller. [The last word here is a surname but I don't recognize what the first letter is.]
Image (bottom of page):
vorgelegten Wohnungsscheins anerkannt = submitted residence certificate recognized. [This is how the bride confirmed her identity to the civil registrar.]
pensionierten = retired

@Robert Seal_1 I found the marriage record for his mother and the worker she was married to appears to be Müller.

Thanks for that information about "Müller".
