WEEK 6 (Feb 2-Feb 8) Locate a newspaper or magazine article about yourself or an ancestor, share it with your family, and upload it to Memories.

You might choose a marriage or death announcement, something about high school sports or political events, or you might choose an article that contains something unusual and entertaining. You might realize that you have a collection of newspaper clippings and decide that you want to upload all of them. This challenge is not meant to ever be overwhelming. If you realize that you have multiple items and not enough time, just make a list of items that you want to upload later. As always, the challenge is only a suggestion. Our goal is to upload at least one memory a week, so choose your own Ancestor Treasure to upload.

I will add this article to two of my third great grandfathers! Boy was I surprised to learn more about my two brick walls in one little article! I researched these two men for additional information about this feud. I found multiple articles about them in the newspaper and more information in the court records. This paragraph opened up a huge can of worms! I found this article at ChroniclingAmerica.org. You will want to check out this free collection! Search by surname, location, and time period.
