What additional records can be used to locate an address.
I am trying to locate the address where my father, Thomas H Miller lived in Springville, Utah in the 1930's. I have been unable to locate a city directory with information. My great grandmother died 3 months after he was born, and my grandfather Lionel T Miller, was the informant, but it only listed the city. I tried looking for a probate, but it is not available online. Any other ideas?

Is the probate available offline? If so, atFHL.com can get it for you.

There is also US Public Records Index and census records

1930 census has them in Provo Utah ... 1940 census has them in Salt Lake City

Oh I’m sorry I misread your question you can get tons of info from old newspapers, probate records, employment, church and school records

1930 Census is dated 3 Apr and the address given for the Leonel T Miller & Veda is 592 3rd North. Since the next street is 5th West, that means they must have lived at 592 W 300 North. Does that help?

That is correct. I found a city directory from 1930 that shows they moved to Springville. The 1940 census also shoes in 1935 they lived in Springville. My dad was also born there

THey moved sometime in 1930. Which makes me see I need to check the date of the city directory and the census

Oh wait ... holdup... was Veda your grandmother? Cause I thought maybe I had the wrong people?

Also I keep finding his name spelled as Leonel

Another thought, if the house they lived in at Springville was purchased, then deeds might show the address and date of purchase.

Update: I found Lionel and Veda living in Springville, in 1935 but no address. To add to the mystery, it looks like my Grandpa owned a feed store in town.
