Vadsö
This Ole Persen Nikke LVY9-LFL I found was born in Vadsö, and his parents are mentioned. But I don't know how to find further information about them. Is there somebody here who has time to help me? I have problems understanding nowegian, so going through archives is a major headache. I find some Nikke lived in the Netherlands. Could my Nikke foks have come there?

Here is the link to and a copy of his original birth record in the church books of Norway.
His fathers name is Peer Olsen Skittenelv and his moms name is Birthe Johannesdatter. Ole, born 11 January (1810) was baptized by Ole Guttormsen 21 January. As you can tell Nikke is not part of their names so this raises a question as to whether this is your ancestor or not. Where and when that name got into the family you will have to follow the family forward in FamilyTree and see. It looks like there might be a mistake somewhere.
There is most likely no connection between Peer Olsen Skittenelv and the Nikke living in the Nederlands. With this information you can look further into church records and census records to see if they connect.

The name Nikki might come from Finland. It is used as a last name there.

I believe AudMarit is right since many Finnish people settled in that area in the 1700s and later.
