Amsterdam Catholic Church abbreviation
Hi, I was hoping someone who has used the church indexes would be able to tell me the actual name of this Catholic church. From the abbreviation It looks like H.R.K.H (but I could be wrong on the last letter) Thanks in advance for any help you can offer-Carl

The second letter looks like an L to me.
Have you tried finding the original record in the Stadsarchief Amsterdam's search engine: https://archief.amsterdam/indexen/persons or at OpenArch?. These days you generally don't need to browse the old-fashioned alphabetical indexes.

I actually did find a burial record at the Amsterdam archive. But it sure has become a head scratcher. I found another index for his wife and it appears they were buried on the same day. I don't know if you recall but there was one record that listed Jacob and his wife and they scratched off the name Hendrika and wrote in the name Arrianntie?
I am SO frustrated with this site, I continue getting error messages every time I try and post a link, I'll DM it to you. This link is from Familysearch and it is still not letting me post it 😥

The index entries for Jacob van Daalen and Hendrika van Selt both have the same reference number (1248/66). The above record is from book 1248, page 65/66. So if there were two burials on the same day, they should be on the same page. What appears to be happening is that the alphabetical index and the search engine from Stadsarchief Amsterdam also includes the names of spouses and parents of deceased that were mentioned in the burial records. So only Hendrika was buried that day.

"I am so frustrated with this site,..."
In regard of the posting of links.
Many links are not pure and uniquely only links , they do sometimes contain elements of grafic nature
like say gif's and pictures or edited(copyrighted other compositions)content.That does not always show when the link itself is cut/copy/pasted ,but will reveal itself to the machine software filters when the post comment
control is used.Also, many links are Cut/copy /pasted to the clipboard for to long of time before use,as in "Session expired",.... there seems to be a sort of time to live module active in this console.
Direct mailing to someones mailbox works fine, altough it is a bit confusing for many people and does not add clarity to conversations.

@Adrian Kintziger
I really don't know what has changed, but something has, at least for me. I've posted links at the Familysearch community (various groups) for a couple of years in the same way without problems.
Thanks for your input on what could be causing the problem - Carl
