Love this resource! Okay, first-timer here. I'm looking for the family of Edward Barnet(t) who was b
Would love to also find the passenger manifest. Father could be George Barnet(t), mother could be Ann Cooper, but still trying to connect the dots. Thanks!

I will see what I can find. On his birth, please standardize the date (ex. 13 September 2020)
This helps the computers search for records, and is the international genealogical standard for dates, too.

20 March 1774 is the best I can come up with. His ID is GWB2-233. Thanks!

I went on FindMyPast to search parish records, and could not find an Edward Barnet born there in that time. What records do you have that say for sure he was born in Shropshire? Just wondering.:) I found two with that name born in 1772 in Staffordshire, one in 1772 in Worcestershire, one in 1775 in Worcestershire etc. I went on Ancestry to the Shropshire, England, Extracted Church of England Parish Records, 1538-1812, and there was no Edward Barnet or Barnett listed from 1769-1779. I went to the Shropshire site and searched (which took me to a different area of FindMyPast with only Shropshire baptism records) and only found two Edward Barnetts born 1760 and 1783 that were close to yours. I then searched for Edward Barnet in the Shropshire records and found one in 1758 and another in 1778. Those were the only close ones I could find. Do you have any other records that aren't in Family Search on his page? Here is the link to the baptism record for an Edward Barnet born in 1778 in Shropshire.

He was baptised: 15 Jan 1778
In: Preston Gubbals, Shropshire England
Father: John Barnet
That is the closest one I could find!
I am guessing you got the birthdate from the Headstone? That could be in error. I find errors on headstones all the time. People were not as good at dates. Here is the wiki page for finding Ships from England to the US: https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/England_Emigration_and_Immigration

KMS you did a lot of research and gave Anita some great research suggestions. As we converse and share with each other we are given the opportunity to Concetta with our ancestors. As we pay it forward we can help bring family history alive for others.😀
