Dennis Allen - Scarriff, Born 1903
Hello; I'm looking for any information regarding Dennis Allen, born Sept 5, 1903. The Dennis Allen in the tree I'm building immigrated to Canada at age 14 ( approx) as a farm labourer. He is believed to be the grandfather of my neighbour and we are trying to confirm his family tree etc. Any piece of information,rumour or picture would be fantastic. Hello John,
There is a Denis Allen (Denis with one "n") born on 05 September 1903 in the townland of Derroran in County Clare in Ireland. His parents are Denis Allen and Ellen Torpey. His father Denis Allen was a farmer.

The townland is shown as Derroran, however, there are actually two relevant townlands, Derroran East and Derroran West. The birth record does not state which of the two it is referring to. A link showing the map and location of Derroran West is attached below.....
I had a quick look in the FamilySearch family tree and it looks like neither Denis nor his parents have been added, but you can easily add them to the tree yourself. Once you have added the details from the birth record, lots of other details will start to pop up.
