NEW MESSAGE to RECENT CONTACT fails to send (again)
I originally posted this issue a couple of months ago but the thread was taken over by another user asking for help finding a relative, so starting a new thread.
When I select New Message and type in the screen name of a recent contact I am able to select that person from the Global Contacts list. After selecting, that person correctly shows at the top of the message.
I compose the message and hit send and immediately get an error notification that the message could not be sent. My nicely composed message just disappears.
Currently, I'm being forced to compose offline in a word processor and then paste into the message window knowing that the odds are good that all my effort is going to be lost.
I would really like a response on why this is happening or if it is being addressed since it has been going on for months with no resolution.
- Why aren't messages consistently sending?
- Why if a message can't be sent isn't it being saved as a draft so we can attempt to resend?
- Is this issue in the queue to be addressed? If so, I'll stop posting about it.
For reference, my browser is the current build of Chrome, using Windows 10 Home with an i7 processor and Xfinity high-speed internet.
