Need to clarify a farm name
SAT, Ministerialprotokoller, klokkerbøker og fødselsregistre - Nordland, 847/L0663: Parish register (official) no. 847A03, 1749-1770, p. 32
Left page, right column Dom Reminiscere, christening of Joen Jenssen's son Joen, and just below on facing page the introd of his wife. Is the farm Øksengaard or Evensgaard? To me it looks like the Ø seen in other entries like Øllegard and Øvre-Drage.
The so-helpful but not gospel Saltdal community tree at https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:2:3G76-HKK has a similar family at Evensgaard.
There is a marriage record that may belong to the father, spouse Mali (a nickname for Malena?) Hansdr that matches the community tree, above, but this source is indexed as Ovesgaard: "Norway Marriages, 1660-1926", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N7Y3-72D : 20 February 2020), Joen Jensen Ovesgaard, 1754.

The name in the birth record must be Øvensgaard, although, I can see that someone might be able to make "Øksengaard" out of it. But, since the farm in the mother's introduction is definitely "Ovensgaard", the farm in the birth record has to be the same place. However, in Olaf Rygh's Norwegian farm names, there is no Øvensgaard in Saltdal, Nordland parish. There is an Evensgaard in that parish. Looking at the marriage record (https://media.digitalarkivet.no/en/view/16617/57), it definitely reads "Øvesgaard" and not "Øksengaard". You may be aware of this already, but the marriage record says that Mali Hansdatter is a widow. Mali is a Swedish and Norwegian dialectal variant form of Malin (https://www.nordicnames.de/wiki/Mali) and Malin is possibly a variant of Malene (https://www.nordicnames.de/wiki/Malin_f).

With time you will gather your personal collection of variant names that are important in your research. This is a good example.
Regarding related person names, I would consider Øyvind, Eyvind, Øvind, Evind, and probably Øvin, Evin, Øven, and Even all to be spelling variants through time of the same name. This is not necessarily a change over time. You might see the name bounce between these on the various pages of the same parish register depending on how the priest felt like writing it that day.
