Surname Maronna

Hello everyone, I'm new to this group! I'm doing a very complicated research to locate the birth certificate of Fedele Maronna (or at least that's one possible name variation). This is what I have so far: 

- Name: Fedele Maronna

- Date of birth: between 1876 and 1878

- Father: Paolo Maronna, born around 1848 

- Mother: Carmella, born around 1853 

The family migrated to Brazil, where he got married. I could not find their entry, I've been searching for months. Basically, all the information I could collect over the past months are the ones I wrote above, including brazilian certificates. 

I hit a wall with this research! Does anyone know this surname or can give me some insight?

Are you looking for records prior to the time the family lived in Brazil?

Have you checked Brazilian immigration records? Sometimes they will list port of embarkation which might give a clue as to location to begin looking in.
