π How is everyone doing in the new platform?
We are in a new community platform with much to learn. How are you feeling, and what can we do to help you navigate through it?
In your comments please remember that being kind in your honest responses will help. π Thank you

Being kind: I recognize that with any major programming changes, some unanticipated glitches occur and patience is a virtue. π
Being honest: I'm (doing my best to be) patient, particularly in another group where some key information hasn't made it over (yet?) to the new version where some older outdated policy information did make it over to the new version and may be confusing to some newer members of that group. 300 people in that private group got dropped from membership. π€
Being realistic: I learned in a college class 51 years ago that resistance to change is a normal human response. Message to self: Get over it! π
Being optimistic: At some point the transition will become a thing of the past to the longer-term users, and an unknown thing to those just coming in now, and in the long run I suspect we'll all end up being glad for the changes. π

@Chris Schmink I love your response. Yes, it will take some patience but over time it is going to get better.
As far as the policy information in the other group - possibly you can private message people to let them know. If there is anything I can help with, just private message me. (Envelope in the top right corner of the page)
Membership is off for all the groups. Engineering is working on getting them all transferred over. I too will be happy when we are all together again. In the meantime, people can rejoin the group - which is a help.
I have learned that there is nothing as constant as change, but I am still trying to learn to be patient through it - asking myself along the way the questions: What can I learn? How can I be a part of the solution? Thank you for your well said perspective. We will all figure this out together.
