There are two full records on the page and the beginning of a third. Which one are you interested in?

16 Mar 1868: Salvadore Casbarro, son of Gennaro, age 30, peasant farmer, presented a male child born to his wife Maria Bove, daughter of deceased Giovanni, in their house on Sant'Angelo street, on the 15th at 10:30, given the name Giovanni.

Dear Cousin Vinny
Thank you so very much for the translation. I am so very grateful to learn this information. I have many more things I would like to find out about my Italian family. I will start with asking do know how I can obtain a birth certificate for my grandfather Giovanni?

There really is no such thing as a birth certificate in Italy from these times, they were not issued to parents. You can ask (and pay for) the comune to send you a certificate of the birth but it will just be the information extracted from this record and put onto a form. Of course if you are pursuing dual citizenship you would need a certificated birth record.
