I am trying to find the birth place of Nils Renström.
Would you please translate the remarks for Nils Renström in the 1814-1820 clerical Survey of Tingsyrd img 391 page 45 he is under his son-law Jonas Lagstrom.

Hello #[Jacklynn Nelson] ,
This is what I gather:
The word föda with 1 "d" has multiple meanings. One meaning is birth but the other refers to food, aliment and sustenance (according to the Swedish Historical Dictionary Database, see föd at https://swedishgenealogyguide.com/dictionaries/swedish-historical-dictionary-database-shdd).
So I think it says Nils Renström (who is a undantags man, meaning turned over his farm to Jonas Lagström with the agreement to be provided for) is getting food from (his) children, noted, and without otherwise registration with the poor. It does not say anything about his birthplace.
In looking at this further, I would suggest that you contact the Regional Archive in Vadstena by email (riksarkivet@riksarkivet.se) and ask if they would look for the supporting documents for marriages in Väckelsång, see https://sok.riksarkivet.se/arkiv/UYcWT7cUr16xmW3GjpvwY3. These are supporting documents for the marriage that include 1784 when he married Sara Maria Pilgren. This volume was never microfilmed and has not been digitized. We don't know if there were supporting documents for this marriage or not but it's worth checking. If there is one for Nils Renström it will likely show his full birth date and birthplace.
Hope this helps,
Geoff
