A complicated way would be to identify, in the 1830 census for VA, counties that later became WV, with Lewis families that had a female child aged 5. Then fill out those families a little to see if they match. They only listed Head-of-household in 1830, and # of children by sex/age.

Thank you so much for all your suggestions. I didn't even think of going back to 1830. I checked the pages before and after their 1850 listing for Robinson or Lewis but didn't see any.
