In my research in the Braaby, Sorø, parish register, I am finding a name that could be a farm name,
My reference - one of the records in which I am finding the word: Braaby, Sorø, parish register, 1645 section, opslag 83 (right side of image), year of 1655, in reference of Boél Nielsdatter, and others on the page.

@BarbaraSlater BarbaraSlater I consulted with some Danish friends and this was one of their thoughts. "The name in the death records is "Hirset", most certainly the old spelling/name for Hesede in Bråby sogn (parish)". It was recommended to use this website for place names. It is new to me so I'm excited to give it a try. http://danmarksstednavne.navneforskning.ku.dk/?fbclid=IwAR0KDak1tA4znO_OOCdoP2RJxBcoUGHMJ3OPJiXGBgaygJ0sNcgK6rXAhwo

Comparing the word to the name Hans on the page, it's definitely an "h," making it "hirset." I looked up the Bråby parish page on FamilySearch (linked), which lists the places included in the parish of Bråby. One of these places is Hesede, which previously was spelled both Hyrsæt and Hirsædæ; I also found a mention of "Hirset (Hæsede)" online.
As such, I believe it is spelled Hirset in the records but that it is the location that today is spelled Hesede.

According to Trap Danmark (volume 8, page 804), the town Hesede was disbanded in 1671, and the farm known as Hesedegård was created from it in 1691.

@Charlotte Noelle Champenois Is Trap Danmark online? Is there a fee?

The Trap Danmark volumes are available for use at the Family History Library at the Nordic desk on B1.
I have not used an online version, although it does seem one exists for a fee (such as at https://trapdanmark.dk/abonnement, although this won't be the same edition). However, as far as I know, both the books and the online version only exist in Danish.

The Danish Wikipedia article lists several digital versions of Trap's Danmark which are available without charge. https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statistisk-topografisk_Beskrivelse_af_Kongeriget_Danmark

There seems to be no mention of Hesede (Hirset) in the 2. edition of Trapdanmark I have seen through, but Bråby church records 1645-1749 show an abundance of mentions of the name Hirset. Copy and paste this link:
Now, I saw your post on Facebook too, but I can no longer find it, and don't remember the individuals you were looking for. But there is a good chance you may find some interesting data via the above link.
Best of luck
