What is the ethnicity and religion of the people you are looking for? This can change where records are kept.

Donhof looks like a German name. Is this is German colony? And, is it perhaps Dönhof?

Dönhof is a German village. The people there were Lutheran. Germans settled the village around 1767. There are census records from 1768 to 1857.

Unfortunately, FS does not have any records from this place. I think you need to contact the groups that are listed off to the right in blue--the various Germans from Russia groups. One of the groups will have someone who can help you. Youshould be prepared to pay for their services, though.

@Jeffory L. Maw I found a little bit of information. But am in agreement with @Fritz Juengling
You really should contact the Germans from Russia Groups to find more specific answers, since they appear to be the main ones providing information about what you are looking for. This is from the Volga German Institute Fairfield University.
"The original colonists of Dönhof were of the Reformed faith. The congregation was originally part of the Grimm parish.
In 1914, with the arrival of The Rev. Adalberg Hugo Willigrode, it became an independent parish and he served Dönhof and surrounding communities.

The Grimm parish was nearby and included the Dönhof parish. But, it's not clear if they were Reformed or Lutheran. Here is the link:

and there appears to be a list of church records kept in the Saratov archives, but I only found a pdf. for this, and Dönhof is not mentioned, but the Grimm parish is.

Tibi,
"The American Historical Society of Germans from Russia Archive Committee announced recently the publication of the Neu-Doenhof Church Records in three paper back spiral bounds. AHSGR.org has them listed under the store pull down tab for ordering: Baptisms $75; Marriages $55 and; Deaths $55."
You will be happy to learn the the FHL is in process of purchasing these books!
It will take a while for them to arrive here and end up on the shelf. Keep checking the catalog.

This is the Village Coordinator for the Donhof village you are looking for. If you have any more questions or you don't hear from them I could help you get in touch with them.

Thank you A U Adams, Fritz Juengling and Shari for your suggestions. I am a member of the AHSGR and have been in contact with Karen Kaiser. I have been assisting the Donhof and Neu Donhof Village Coordinators and in preparing a Donhof quarterly newsletter.
I’ll keep checking the FHL for the Neu Donhof records.
