BYU Family History Library presents:
It Takes a Village: Adding and Correcting Information in Family Tree
By: Kathryn Grant.
When: Sunday, January 24, 2021.
Time: 2:00 pm MST.
This Sunday we'll have our second class in the Basic FamilySearch series. If you’ve been looking for a simple way to learn more about the basics of FamilySearch.org, this class could help! Don’t worry if you missed last week’s class; we’ll do a recap.
Just to clarify, since there have been questions in the past, these classes are open to anyone and everyone. There’s no charge and you don’t have to register. Here's the Zoom link:

Each class includes a live Q&A session. Participants also receive access to an online handout with simple exercises so they can practice what they learn.
The BYU Sunday Class page has more information, including the schedule of upcoming classes.

I tried to join the class soon after it started and was given the message 'Unable to join'. Nothing worked that I tried to join it.

I need to know that the Zoom link works before I share it with the rest of the ward.

Amanda, I am so, so sorry. They changed the link for today, and no one mentioned it to me. It hadn't changed for ages, and I had no reason to expect that it would change today.
We got messages from many other people who tried to join and couldn't, so we're going to try to schedule a makeup session. I'll post information here if we're able to do that.
Again, I'm very sorry. For the future, people should always go to the BYU FHL Sunday Class page right before the webinar and click on the Zoom link there:
https://fh.lib.byu.edu/classes-and-webinars/sunday-classes/
That way, they'll definitely have the right link.
Again, I apologize for the mixup. At least we know how to avoid the problem in the future <wry grin>.
Kathryn
