I am trying to find the parents of a Joannes Kovats, familysearch ID LKM4-TNK. He was born approxima
I did not find his marriage record in the Roman Catholic record books and I know of no marriage records for the evangelical batovce, levice, slovakia except for the ones from 1852-1895. I looked in the roman catholic records for Kovats in Elesfalu (a few years ago) and did not find any Joannes listed.

Roman catholic people from Elesfalu were registered in Bát.
And some registers available only at family history center.

According to the GenTeam (genteam.at) gazetteer, The Protestant (and the Roman Catholic) parish of Elesfalu is Batovce and the records are in the Nitra State Archive. You could try emailing the Nitra State Archive (their email is found at https://www.minv.sk/?statny-archiv-v-nitre) to see whether they have his birth or marriage record.

Why he/she need to write email? Almost all records available online on familysearch or at family history center.

There are many records available online on FamilySearch and other websites, but there are also many, many records that are not yet available online. It looks like the record he needs is one of those, so writing to the archive that should have the original is probably the best bet.
