Hi, I found his immigration record https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JJYF-NMS Residence Place name was incorrect but I corrected Kraszna-Béltek (now Beltiug and it is in Romania). Bad news, no online register from Kraszna-Béltek and would be good to know your ancestor religion for next step.

Catholic. I have tried a variations of spellings. I could not find Krasna Beltek either.
Grandma always said she was from there and Szatmarnegye -she classified herself as Romania and spoke Hungarian. Name was changed to Mary Bulga in America. Father’s name was changed to John Bulga.

Yes it was in Szatmár megye (megye is county in English) now Satu Mare. If he was catholic you (or anybody or you would hire a researcher) can research only personally https://www.szatmariegyhazmegye.ro/egyhazmegyei-leveltar/ in Szatmár catholic archives. They have no English webpage only HUngarian and ROmanian.
I can not help you more because I'm living in Hungary but they can http://romanianancestry.com/.
