Julia Szent-Gyorgi - Is there a part one to this 1869 Census that goes from 174 down? Unfortunat
Unfortunatly, I lost my news thread and had to start over.
Thank you so much for all your help with answering my questions.

It's just a thought, that maybe Joanness Jakab had three wives, and by the time my GGrandmother married that's where Anna Dobranski came from. She had a brother named John Jacob, 1878 who I just thought had the same parents. She was born in 1866 that's a big gap there.
Susanna Kertiscsik was a big surprise. Def no period of morning there........
What a puzzle of events, and I still need to find the parents of Joannes Jakab.

Yes, there's another film of Gálszécs 1869: https://www.familysearch.org/search/film/008144598?i=5&cat=385993
The other thread appears to have utterly disappeared. This "community forum" keeps doing that. I pointed out in the community feedback forum that I could randomly delete other people's posts, and they seemed to have fixed that, but maybe not entirely?

Thanks, Julia
If you need anything from the lost thread just let me know, I keep the emails to refer back too.
Will you please take a look at image 299, items 22-25 and see if I have the correct the family. They should be here somewhere. The writing is terrible.

22. head of family János Jakob, male, born 1830, RC, married, cattle-herder? [the "herder" part is certain, what species he herds is less so], birthplace Zemplén Varanó, local, present, can read and write
23. his wife Maria born Lipcsák, female, born 1839, GC, Zemplén Varanó, local, present, cannot read and write
24. his son And. Jakob, male, 1867, RC(?), single, Zemplén Gálszécs, local, present, cannot read and write
25. his daughter Mária Jakob, female, 1865, ditto, single
The rest of it is off by one line starting from here: it says "yearly wage", which is nonsense for a four-year-old. I suppose it's just as well, as I cannot decipher the next birthplace.

Hi Julia, would you mind sharing the link to the rest of the films for this census?
Thank you in advance,

Check the Catalog. That's what I do.
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/results?count=20&query=+subject_id:1122210
There's also a waypointed collection: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1986782 (Click the "Browse ..." link.) Note that the waypoints for Tolna and Torontál are the result of errors; there are no surviving data sheets from either of those counties.
