Foreign birth records of British subjects

Hello group, I have 2 British subject ancestors born in Bahia, Brazil in abt 1880 & 1882. I can't seem to find any birth registration or family travel records. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you know what city they lived in, you can search civil registration records. Unfortunately many of these records will have to be searched image by image, although some books of images might have indexes at the beginning of each book. The indexes are generally listed by first name so be prepared to skim through the entire index to find the person you're looking for, especially if they had more than one given name.
