Debra,
after reviewing all docs you attached to your three posts, this is a summary of what I can read:
Marriage in Alberobello on March 13, 1912 - nr 16
Groom: Leonardantonio Scianni, widower, 32 years old, son of Renzo (defunct) and Angela De Carlo, farmer, resident in Alberobello
Bride: Martellotta Angela, single, 26 years old, daughter of Addolorata (61 years old - farmer), farmer, resident in Alberobello.
There is no mention of Angela's father, meaning she is probably the daughter of a single mother (Addolorata Martellotta) .
You could try looking for Angela's birth certificate in 1885 or 1886 birth records, or in the "Allegati di Matrimonio" where a copy should be kept, but it's unlikely you can find more.
Good luck!

Thank you for replying back to me. In this document that is very soft to read, could you see the surname of Negri? Its at top of the page. If so could you transcribe this page , because he may be the father I have been looking for, this whole document is important. He may be the birth father to my grandfather, Not only to Angela, Single mother being Addolorata.
I sent the birth record its in the marriage ban, Also would you have the link to part 2 of the marriage ban?

I can't see the surname Negri anywere in the page.
After the date and time, the document starts like this:
TRANSCRIPTION
"Avanti a me, Avv.
TRANSLATION
Before me, Avv. Carmelo D'Agostino, Royal Commissioner for the Dissolved Administration, Officer of the Civil State of the municipality of Alberobello, appeared Scianni Leonardantonio, widower, aged thirty-three, farmer, resident in Alberobello, son of the former Renzo -----Resident in Alberobello, son of De Carlo Angela, farmer, resident in Alberobello.
Martellotta Angela has also appeared, unmarried, aged twenty-six, countrywoman, resident in Alberobello, daughter of Addolorata, aged sixty-four, countrywoman, resident in Alberobello, daughter of ----------- who have asked me to do the marriage publications--------
The final part deals with the testimonies (one of them is a priest)
No Negri here neither, nor in the signature at the bottom end.
Not sure what you mean by "part two of the marriage ban"?
Bans had to be posted twice and if there was no opposition to the marriage, this had to be posted once more, before the marriage could take place, however, all those bans reported exactly the same data as per the above.
A summary of those publications is reported on the left side of the document.
In some cases you may find additional docs in the related "Allegati di Matrimonio" file.
However, in this case, as both spouses were from Alberobello, they didn't need to exhibit any additional document, and the only one you can expect to find in there is the death certificate of the first wife of Leonardantonio.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for verifying the surname Negri. I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. Is there a link to Allegati di Matrimonio" file?
I have seen many marriage banns that have part 2 including my grandfather, it could be in the same area that I found the first marriage bann. Its over 2,000 pages to go through 😢.
Thank you!

Here is an example of "Allegati di Matrimonio" for Altamura.
Unfortunately it looks like they stop at 1911 - no later docs!

You might have seen this already.
Anyhow, it's the birth certificate of Angela Martellotta, born in Altamura on Dec 15, 1886 to Addlorata Martellotta of 35 years
"dalla sua unione con un uomo celibe, non parente nè affine nei gradi che ostano al riconoscimento"
"by her union with an unmarried man, not a relative or related in any degree that precludes recognition..."

BTW, the only "Negri" I could find in Alberobello is a Filippo Negri, a foundling, registered on May 25, 1889.
The name "Negri" is an invention of the Civil State officer.
He was then entrusted to a nurse, Maria Martellotta, (33 years, unmarried ) daughter of Antonio Vito Martellotta.
Is this the Negri you were looking for?

yes, that is my grandfather, but later just before marriage in 1912 to Rosa Contegiacomo my grandmother, his surname Was given To him by his mother is (Addolorata Martellotta ) same mother as Angela Martellotta that you had translated her marriage. The same mother had two children that I found with unknown fathers. This whole story of my grandfather is somewhat of a mystery, I'm trying to figure it all out. The nurse I believe is Addolorata Martellotta sister because they both share the same father Antonio Vito.
You did a great job for me! I’ll continue to look for the birth father, and possible part 2 of Angela Martellotta wedding ban. Ill check 1911 because on one of her wedding said 1911 at the very bottom hard to read.
thank you!!!!!
