The Story of the Cracked Pot
As we really research our ancestors (more than just names and dates) - we realize that each of them was a real person - most with great qualities and attributes - but all of them with their own unique flaws and imperfections. In my mind we should be proud of all of them - not just the wealthy or wise, not just the famous or royal - but the humble, the imperfect, the poor, the uneducated - - all of them need our respect. And if it wasn't for every single one of them we wouldnt be here. We can learn from each of them with all of their hopes and dreams as well as mistakes and shattered plans.

I love this story of the cracked pot. I was just explaining to someone that there are positive parts of our relatives that are not perfect. This story is definitely a good reminder about looking for the good in others.

I love this story and will download the PP. I hope that prayers are answered and others will also understand this thought process.
