I cannot read out this name... Does anyone know what it can be?
Good evening Everybody,
I have found Cyril Sternád's marriage certificate (right side, second line from the bottom) on Ancestry. Based on this they have married in 1845 in Lippa (now Lipova in Romania), but he was born in Moravia ('Morvában' means 'in Moravia') in Wfradov? Vhadev? I cannot figure this out...
Does anyone have any idea what this might be? (Maybe this was the German name of the city, but... I'm not 100% sure)
Thank you for your help in advance!

Here is the death record for Cyril Sternad:
States he is from Znaim, Moravia (now Znojmo, Moravia)
The locality at his marriage appears to me to be Vohrada. I'm thinking for this to work with Znojmo that the location might be Voderady. If so, the records will be here:
Sebranice parish.
I don't use this website though as it requires Adobe Flash Player.

In case you are unfamiliar with how to use the Brno archive website, here's a short video orientation -- https://www.familysearch.org/ask/learningViewer/286

Thank you Camille, but I'm familiar with Actapublica. My problem is that I'm not sure about the city name.

Hi Thomas,
That's what I have also found strange, that in his death record they mention Znaim. I thought that maybe the children didn't remember exactly where he came from, so I decided to go with his marriage records.
Thank you for your help, I'll try searching in the Vohrada/Voderady records next, maybe I can find him there
I'll get back to you later!
