Final Destinations!
Is there an option anywhere in any of the various "add additional information" choices in all the various immigration and passenger arrival databases?? If there is, I cannot find it.
I suppose it's too late now for my research, but as I am manually looking for missing people, searching on "prior locations, which is generally indexed, though incosistently being that page two of mulipage page manifests are not indexed for some reason - YES, page twos are usually a nightmare… However, IF there was that field, being that i am looking at so many failures, I started off creating new persons PLUS adding a new event for "Residence" and adding the immigration destination, including entries for who they are going to in each city/town. That has gotten FAR too time consuming, so I quit, but IF there was a final destinations "additional field" I would at least add that, which could help others find these relatives for them, of course if search would even see those additional fields - no idea being that's not searchable, though possible could be using the "any place" for final destination, say a STATE you knew someone went to.
