The marriage information was not with the merged record.

Yes, I've noticed this and posted about this the group to report problems with the new merge routine. I hope they get it fixed soon. In the meantime, with care you can avoid losing the information.

It worked this time. What you need to do is make sure the profile with the marriage information is the one that will be the survivor in the merge.
