Problem with Irish Census Website

The Irish National Archives have updated their website for accessing all the available Irish census records. The new location looks great and gathers in one place a broad swathe of valuable documents.

However, as a consequence, all the links to Irish Census records in FamilySearch no longer function correctly!

Is there an awareness of this? Are there any plans to implement some form of a mass correction that will relink all existing records in FamilySearch.

The 1901 and 1911 Censuses of Ireland are hosted on the National Archives of Ireland website https://nationalarchives.ie/collections/search-the-census/ That website has just been updated, and the URLs have changed. That means that a search on FS no longer connects to the image on the NAI site. That also means that ALL the sources in the FS tree now stop at the NAI search page, where the search has to be performed again, to view the image.

Example: I have the 1901 and 1911 attached to the profile of my GG Aunt Margaret McGarrity in County Tyrone. Profile: https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/person/M5DV-MVL

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QRMY-MFPZ formerly led to the image of Margaret's census page on the NAI site. Now it stops at the NAI Census Search page. The same happens with the 1911 https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QYLQ-562M for Margaret.

Can these sources be recovered?

@John Curran FYI - I don't know if NAI has pushed a change or if FS has managed a redirect, but the URLs I've attached as sources in the FS tree are working again this afternoon.

You are indeed correct, it looks like original Irish census website was restored (in addition to leaving the new updated site in place) and that has all the FamilySearch links working again.

Unfortunately, the problem looks set to return in coming months. The notice below is a banner headline on the old Irish Census Site indicating that the old site will disapear soon.

Understood @Áine Ní Donnghaile. Hopefully it will be picked up by someone who can take action before the full switch to the new Census Website in implemented.
