FYI
.
There are some, many, of the records from the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" available in "FamilySearch"; but, NOT all.
.
Some, even many, of the records from the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" are NOT yet available in "FamilySearch"; as, they are still being "Indexed".
.
As more and more of the records from the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" are "Indexed", they are being made available in "FamilySearch".
.
If the record is available as a "Source" in "FamilySearch"; then, it can be attached as such.
.
Conversely, if the record is NOT available as a "Source" in "FamilySearch"; then, it cannot be attached as such.
.
Here is the URL (ie. 'link') directly to that "Collection" in "FamilySearch":
England and Wales National Register, 1939
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2836130
.
If you find an Ancestor there ten you are fortunate.
.
As an aside ...
.
Before the records from the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II" were available in "FamilySearch", they were available in "MyHeritage_com" as "Indexed" ONLY "Sources" (no 'Image' of the document); and, those "Sources" in "MyHertiage_com" could (and, still can) be attached as "Sources" to individuals/persons in "Family Tree" of "FamilySearch".
.
I now add the (SAME) "Source" from, both, "FamilySearch" and "MyHeritage_com", were I can. I like having both - the 'best of both worlds', so to speak.
.
And, as a further aside ...
.
"Ancestry_com" also NOW has records of the "National Registration Act, 1939" of "England and Wales" for "World War II"; whereas, NOT only as "Indexed" record; but, ALSO as an 'Image' of the document.
.
I hope this helps.
