For research help
I would like to find the births/christenings for the 2 daughters of Hinrich Stamer G9CN-T74 & Elsche from Hohenwestedt. Their names are Stienke Stamers G9CN-RS4, born about 1720 and Anna Elsbe Stamers GSKT-GHJ, about 1735. Meyers Gazetteer says that there is a Protestant church there and also Archion.de has their church records, but at this time I do not have a subscription. Is there anyone who could possibly look up these records for me? I would surely appreciate it.
Thank you! Judy Anderson

I was able to access the records for Hohenwestedt in Archion, but the results are not very pleasant. Baptism records began in 1713, marriages in 1717, and deaths in 1737. There is a name index for each of them.
There is a Stamer baptism record for 1718 for a child of Hinrich Stammer, but the name of the wife and child are obscured by tape on the edge of the page. I could not find a marriage record for Hinrich from 1717 until this birth.
I found a marriage record on 15 November 1826 for Hinrich Stammer and Elsabe Stammer. The bride's name matches that given in the marriage records for Anna Elsbe Stamer. On 7 November 1737 the widower Hinrich Stammer married Elsche Magdalena Hiller.
I found a baptism record on 9 September 1738 for Anna Margretha Stammer, a daughter of Hinrich and Elsche. The next birth was on 27 November 1740 for Anna Hedewig. There are several others for this couple through 1749.
Finally, Hinrich's death record in December 1759 states the names of his seven children by his second wife and two daughters - Elsche and Stiencke - by his first wife. The death records only start in June 1737 and do not include a death for Hinrich's first wife.
Questions:
Hinrich's death record in 1759 gave his age as 60 years. If the 1718 birth was truly his, we would have only been 18 or 19 years old. A marriage in 1726 would seem more likely to be a normal age for his first marriage.
But then, Stiencke's death record puts her birth around 1719 or 1720.
I found no baptisms for Stammer from 1726 through 1737. However, note that several of the pages from 1734 - 1736 are almost unreadable, due to ink blots. It's possible that Elsche's baptism is in there somewhere.
It seems odd to me that there are no other Stammer baptisms between 1718 and 1738.
I downloaded PDF images of several of these records, so they are obviously quite large. If you would like, I can put them into Dropbox and post a link for you to download them.
