Sweden - Translation of note on household records
There is a note on the record that seems to start as - absolv. ?
It does grow over time but I am not sure what it says as my attempts at translation do not make sense.
On the records she is know as Cajsa Berg, Cajsa Andersdotter and Cajsa Kumlin. Her birth is shown as 1787 in Ramsta with some records showing 22 August as her birth with one exception. In 1819-1825 it is shown as 1786.
At time there are also notes for her husband, Anders.
Please help me to understand what is going on with this family.

1: Absolution för tjufnad, the was a thief and got absolution for it
2: Same as above, + vaccinated and she could read and she could repeatr some of the lutheri cateches, Martin Luthers small catechism
Her husband is called "Mågen" so the persons above is Catrina's parents, and the absolution for thiefery is still there3: Cajsa still have absolution for thiefery and her husdband is sent to Vadstena korrektionsanstalt in 1824, eg he was sent to prison
4: Cajsa moved in from Ramsta 1821, it still says absolution for thiefery in 1818, her husband arrived from prison "Kommit från correctionsanstalt"
5: without her husband, it still says absolution "absolution för tjufnad 1818 enligt xxx" absolution for thiefery according to (the priest) can't read the line under
6: absolution för brott xxx för flera år sedan xxx (absolution for crimes xxx several years ago xxx)
7: same as above and it says something about her husband, can't read that0 -
absolv stands for ‘absolverad’. It means that the person in question has received absolution for a sin (after having repented).
In the 1819-1825 and 1825-1827 records, Catrina Ersdotter Berg is 'absolverad för tjufnad' = absolved for theft
In the 1825-1827 record Anders Kumlin is 'afförd till Wadstena Corrections Huset' = taken to Vadstena jail
In the 1835 record the note for Cajsa Kumlin is: 'absolverad för brott mot 7de budet för flera år sedan' = absolved for breaking the seventh commandment several years ago
Same comment in the 1836-1838 record with the addition 'mannens vistelseort obekant' = the husband's whereabouts unknown

Thank you for helping me to understand this part of their lives. They really did go through a lot. They lost their 1st child in 1820, 3 children in 1821 and then one more but I don't remember the year right now. Out of their 6 children only one lives.
I tried looking for the prison records on the Riksarkivet but I didn't find anything that looked like it was the correct one. Did I just miss it?

Good to know. I have heard that ArkivDigtial has recently put lots of prison records on their site. When I get onto the FamilySearch Portal again I will check their site.
Thanks
