Can someone still order microfilm?
I moved out of Utah and I don't have access to Norway farm books anymore. I know they are microfilmed and I know the number. I live by a stake center that has a family history center in Arkansas now. Is there a way to have the microfilm sent to my stake center family history center so I can review the images? Thanks and have a happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th to you Jonathan!! Sorry, films cannot be ordered through FamilySearch. I have had great success with finding farm books on line and also from Facebook groups for Norway research. Individuals with Norwegian IP addresses have access to books that we don't. Have you been using https://www.digitalarkivet.no/ to help find your families? What is your film number?

Shari,
See image attach. When I live in Utah I use these books (volumes 1-5) every time I was in the family history center. In the image it shows it is microfilmed and the number. There are a few different numbers so I don't know which one is the microfilm number. (I wish I could check out those books. They are gold mine for my family history!)

Shari,
Forgot to answer one of your questions. Yes I been using https://www.digitalarkivet.no/. I use the book to give me the name and year they were born then I go to https://www.digitalarkivet.no/ to get the birth, confirmation, marriage, and death records from the parish books and upload them to family search.

You are doing a great job. Here is the catalog info for the film# 1440062 Items 4-10 https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/238483?availability=Family%20History%20Library

You can get tiny snippets on Google books if you are desperate:
https://books.google.com/books?id=nvUnAQAAMAAJ&focus=searchwithinvolume&q=ole
A lot of other libraries apparent carry this if you are lucky enough to be close to one to be a reasonable distance. You can find them on WorldCat:
https://www.worldcat.org/title/sunndalsboka/oclc/361887885&referer=brief_results
Unfortunately I don't see any close to Arkansas. Also, unfortunately, these usually don't get shared through interlibrary loan.
I tried to get access to the Norwegian digital library for six month research access for a different bygdebok but was told private genealogy research did not qualify as research.
https://www.nb.no/nbsok/nb/8cdd177a78fe2efb36c7a5d54f781443?lang=no
So access is only available, as Shari noted, with an IP address originating in Norway
Most of these are still under copyright, which is the main source of the problem. I have only found a few communities that have scanned and posted their bygdebok.
A final option is to contact Sunndal community and see if it is possible to purchase a copy of the books:
https://www.sunndal.kommune.no
