Translation Request DR Krystian Streich 1854
No 70.
I am not even sure this is the correct record. There is no death registry, so I can't be sure this is for Krystian Streich. If it isn't for Krystian, no need to translate.
The marriage record of his son, Johann Friedrich Streich, (in Sompolno) gives the DR number of his father Krystian. However, the MR of Krystian Streich is in the Catholic Parish of Piotrków, Kujawsko which is not too far from Sompolno. I believe Sompolno didn't become a Lutheran parish until 1840.
Thanks

The Death Record No. 70, Sompolno, Evangelical Parish, which you forwarded to us is for a female, Eleonora, not Kristian Streich. The death records before and after this record are also for females. You may contact Konin Archives konin@poznan.ap.gov.pl and ask them if they have the index of death records for year 1854 for Sompolno, as sometimes Evangelical Parishes provided indexes after several years much later. Please attach also the marriage record of his son Johan Friedrich Streich as it may help them to locate this death record. You may write in English. There may be a charge even if they do not find anything.

I checked Death records from Piotrkow, Kujawsko-Pomorski, using genealogiawarchiwach.pl (you need to either shorten entry or use typeitPolish to enter Polish letter), then select at the top of 3 left hand side boxes: the name of town: Piotrkow, then in next box Kujawsko-Pomorski, then year 1854. click on a little book in left upper side of the Record that will appear on the right, then scroll down the numbered pages on the left, till you get to index of death records. Unfortunately, I did not find there the death record of Krystian Streich.
From the marriage of his son Johann Streich, we learn that he was born in Goczki, and lived later in Zaryn with his mother. Unfortunately, I had hard time viewing szukajwarchiwach Sompolno all the death records for year 1854.

Hi Doris,
I see you are looking at Streich family (lutherans). There is also a Streich family that went to Radom Poland. I am not sure if they are related or not but I have done some research into them as they married a Keller. You can check my family tree
Matthias

Please keep in mind that the recorder wrote what he heard and could misheard Goczki for Kózki, it was not based on written information in documents.

Thanks @Eppich Maria . I suspect the DR is in Pioitrków, Kujawsko (Nieszawa). But the szukajwarchiwach website doesn’t have scans of this parish. I only know about the MR of Krystian Streich and that it is located in the Catholic Parish of Pioitrków, Kujawsko (Nieszawa) from the the Poznan Project.

Thank you so much @Eppich Maria for trying to find his DR. Thanks for the info about the other website too. I will keep it in mind when trying to find other relatives. Do you think the Goczki where Johann Streich was born is the same place as Kózki , where his son Andreas Streich was born, and you helped me find on Oct 26?
I believe if I make a donation to the Poznan Project, I can request a MR. And I may go this route to get more info on Krystian Streich.0 -
I thought about checking for death record of Krystian Streich at No. 170, and it is there in szukajwarchiwach. I am not sure about the maiden name of his wife, please check it in marriage record of his son. Below is the translation of this death record:
Translated from Polish:

At death he left widowed wife, Anna Dorota, born Drouse (?), two sons and three daughters. Death reported by Krzysztof Grunwald, 59 years old, and Jan Mund, 41 years old, farmers in Goczki Niemieckie.
