Initial tag gets wrong label
I added a .jpg file for Johann Heinrich Gottfried Julius Böcker GGYL-YV9.
When prompted to tag him I did so, and it automatically connected to his record.
However, the name showing on the tag is Johann Friedrich Gottfried Julius. I did not type this. There is no one in his family with this name. I deleted the memory and reattached it, but I got the same error. What is causing this? And how can it be fixed?

I'm not sure what exactly is happening either. Let me check some sources and get back to you.
Thanks for this feedback.

This sounds like the same issue I posted a solution for here.

Hi Cheryl,
At some point, I believe the name of Johann Heinrich Friedrich C. Böcker (GRXZ-VNF) got mixed up with Johann Heinrich Gottfried Julius Böcker (GGYL-YV9). This did not have any affect on how the images were attached, other than saying Friedrich was a nickname for (GGYL-YV9). Whoops!
If this happens in the future, you can "unattach" the tag, and then tag him again. "Deleting" didn't work because the system remembered the nickname and thought "Ah ha! You mean this guy."
This time, I did my best to fix this for you. You can now delete all the "unattached" tags that say Friedrick, as the correct tags have been added.Sorry this helper feature was sticking you with a name you didn't want! I've made note of this and will pass it along to the rest of the Memories team.

Thank you, Alan and Stacy, for your help.
I looked back at all of the Memories for Heinrich Gottfried Julius Böcker (GGYL-YV9), and they now all had 2 tags—the correct one the Stacy put in and the fake one that doesn't match anyone. But I was able to use the gear icon by the list of names and get rid of (I hope!) all the unconnected tags for Johann Heinrich Gottfried Julius.
In a few cases another unconnected tag had showed up too!—Friedrich Boecker. That one comes from a nickname for HGJB's son. I don't know where the first fake tag came from.
I appreciate your taking the time to help me with this!

Today I was making some minor changes to family relationships and I discovered more incorrect tags. These incorrect labels ARE real people, just not the correct people. Once again, I deleted the tag and relabeled but the incorrect name showed up for the tag name. (The person listed on the side was correct.)
I have hundreds of people whose names are taken from old German records. These Memories (and Memory Sources associated with them) are the ONLY documentation. PLEASE fix this problem!
