Hi, can someone please help with with a translation on a Czech record from 1874. It's the 5th recor
For the father, I think it shows Vacslav Cerny, of Lhuta, son of Josef Cerny and Terezie Uzlikovy both of Timakovy. For the mother, Anna Suchy, daughter of Vacslav Suchy and Marie Lindaurovy both of Lhuta. Thank you very much.

Yes, I think you are spot on. So you have changed the exact spelling of the parents from the record. Josef is recorded as Josefa Cerney-ho but he would have gone by Josef in real life. He is a domkar which is a peasant cottager, also known as a Häusler. The record states Vacslava Suchy-ho as the the mother's father but he could have gone by Vasclav in real life. He is tesař which is a carpenter also known as a Zimmermann. Don't you love how many generations are given in these records? The numbers in the records are house numbers which will help you locate their homes.
