Lengthy list of Secymin births, in Russian for translation
Hello…
In the absence of marriage and death records, I am hoping to use these birth registrations to piece together some German families who were in two villages in the Secymin area. I suspect that this project will reveal some second marriages.
I am looking for confirmation of the names, the ages of the parents, the names of the children. I don't need the names of the witnesses.
Sorry for the long list. Sorted by DGS number and in order, although I am not sure that really matters any more. Many thanks for your help!

Dave, you have never asked me when you were researching in Salt Lake City Library about the Evangelical marriage records from Secymin of those later years. Before I do the translation of the birth records as you are searching for marriages, please check the following:
Metryki.genealodzy.pl – enter Secymin and select Evangelical Records. You will find there Marriages for Secymin 1912-1918, 1850-1927. U= urodzenia, or births, M=Malzenstwa or Marriages, z= zgony or death records. SkM = index of Marriages, SkU=index of Births, SkZ= index of Death records.
The Sister Program of metryki.genealodzy.pl is metryki.genbaza.pl and sometimes they have slightly different coverage. Click on Wejscie under an open book and then enter Secymin in the box above, select Secymin Evang. when it appears and scroll down the list of years you may be interested in. I believe they use instead of malzenstwa – sluby, both translate to marriage in English.
Both of those programs are free of charge, no subscription needed, but they appreciate donations.
When you review those programs, you may not need my translation of the 23 birth records until you establish your correct Weiss marriages. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for this! I suspect it will save both of us a lot of time. I use genealodzy a lot but rarely check the metryki side. I will do better!
