I feel this is the same Johan Paul with a third marriage — 1679 on 17 of September Johan Paul—does this next word indicate widower with a different word —of Niederthalhausen and Barbara—please provide the translation. I have included an image of the cover page to this record to help identify the location.

On the same day [17 Sep 1679]: Johan Paule "Hirte" [herder?] at Thallhausen, and Barbara, daughter of Ezre______? Brandt here.

Question: Do you know what Johann Paul's occupation is?

Then herder/herdsman works because shepherd literally means sheep herder.
