Looking for help on this family table for Christoph Friedrich Traub (right page). The part that I need help with is what it says in the box below the parents' information following the two dates 1866 and 1870. He is listed as the father of my sister-in-law's great-grandmother Catharina Traub on her birth record from Buffalo NY in 1871. He married her mother in 1870 in Buffalo NY. The family was always told Catharina was an orphan, but she also named her parents on her marriage record. I think on the 1870 line it says that he "came back". After 1866 I see the town name of Kochendorf where Christoph Friedrich was born but I can't make out the word following it. I believe that he came to Buffalo at some point, married a woman there and left again before their child was born in 1871 while still having a family in Wurttemburg.
Thank you for your help, Karen LaDuca

The notes are:
1866 v[on] Kochendorf hierher = 1866 from Kochendorf to here
1870 zurück = 1870 back [meaning to Kochendorf]
It is not entirely clear to me who this information refers to. They are in the column of the parents of the 2nd wife (Caroline Charlotte Schulz).

Thanks so much! That's a good point. I was thinking it was referring to Christoph. But maybe it is just the 2nd wife. Kochendorf is where he lived with his first wife, I believe. Maybe I need to look for the marriage to the 2nd wife in either Kochendorf or Eckartsweiler. Maybe she went back to Kochendorf in 1870 when he left for the US. I was assuming that the zurück was referring to his returning back to Eckartsweiler from the US. I really appreciate your assistance.
