Can anyone translate my ancestor's marriage record 18 Feb 1844 in Malcov, Saros, Hungary? I think it
I would like help reading last column. And my problem is I cannot find Mihaly Csingely born around 1813. I found one in 1807 but he was Roman Catholic.

They were exempted from promulgation. That was compulsory 3 times.

I believe this is a complicated farm name problem. Your Michael Czingely was also called Michael Botzko or Boczko. Ages will vary among the Carpatho-Rusyn people. Use age as a guideline. See the attached links. There are two marriages: one for a Michael Czingely in 1830 and one for a Michael Boczklo in 1833. Either one could be your Michael. Look for the death of his first wife prior to 1844. Death of Anna Czingely/Anna Boczko or Catharina Boczko/Czingely.
Look for the death of Michael Czingely-Boczko after 1866 in Malcov. Should die in Malcov No. 82.
Michael Czingely Botzko born 1806
Susana nee Bobaly born 1810
House No. 82 in Malcov
1869 Census of Malcov
Baptism of Georgius Czingely-Botzko 1863
Marriage: 11 Nov 1830
Michael Czingley to Anna Kelecsava
Marriage: Michael Boczko to Catharina Mali
21 Nov 1833 in Malcov

6. on 18th February.
Groom: Mihály Czingely, Greek Catholic, widow smallholder of Malczó, age 31 years
Bride: Zsuzsana Bobaly, Greek Catholic, Malczó, age 23
Witnesses: György Kacsmár, smallholder of Malczó, and Katalin Boczko, wife of Mihály Boczko smallholder of Malczó
Officiant: ditto (Sándor Janitzky, pastor of Malczó)
Announcements/obstacles: with dispensation from three announcements and from an obstactle of consanguinity.
(I can't quite figure out the wording of the bit about consanguinity, but the basic sense is clear.)

Thank you very much! I found the 1830 marriage record to Anna Kelecsava to be a match. Except I was following a Michael Cingel with parents Michael and Anna Kaesmar. This record suggests his parents are Andreas and Susana Hrier - is that correct? Do you have any idea what Malzoviensis means after Lucas Kelescava - is it a location in or around Malzo?

Janet,
Here is the death of Anna Czingely Boczko 8 Feb 1844 age 40.

Michael Czingely died in 1880 age 74. You won't find his birth as there is a gap in the births 1792-1806.
Michael's parents are Andreas (Onda in some early records) Czingely and Susanna Hricz.
Anna Kelecsava parents are Lukas Kelecsava of the Malcov area and Catharina Hovanyecz.
Onda Czingely and Susanna had a child Susanna in 1810 in Malcov.
The other Michael Czingely family can be ruled out as they show up in the 1869 Census here:
1869 Census Malcov House No. 109

The early handwriting is in Old Church Slavonic. If you can narrow down the dates of birth or marriage for the early couples, the pedigree might be able to be extended. This writing is very difficult to navigate.
